The Coalition for Disaster Response is a nationwide organization of restoration experts and disaster recovery experts who have come together to support property owners and communities affected by natural disasters.
CDR was formed to organize an integrated group of the best restoration experts across the country with the capability of handling large-scale property losses and recovery efforts.
More than 50 independent companies participate in the Coalition, combining resources and efforts to provide a concertrated response effort.
Our Commitment to Competition
The Coalition of Disaster Responders is an association of independent restoration companies. Members are separate businesses that compete with one another for work, and CDR is organized so they can continue to do so.
CDR does not set, recommend, publish, or coordinate member pricing, rates, bids, wages, hiring practices, sales territories, or customer assignments and members do not discuss these subjects with one another through CDR. Each member independently determines its own prices, contract terms, employment practices, markets and customers it pursues.
What CDR does provide is shared technical and safety standards, training, common documentation and project control processes, and a way for members to request mutual aid when a loss exceeds one company’s capacity.
Membership is open to any qualified restorer that meets our criteria. CDR maintains a written antitrust compliance policy that applies to all members, all meetings, and all committee activity.
